skyhold_fortressWelcome to Skyhold Fortress! This community is meant as a gathering place for Dragon Age fans; while a good bit of the fandom centers around Tumblr these days, it's harder to have any centralized conversation there. So, in the lead-up to Inquisition, we thought that a Dreamwidth community would serve some folks better - a place to talk and get excited and interact with each other, while making it easier to avoid things you don't necessarily want to see before the game comes out.
Just a few basic rules/guidelines around here:
1) Any and all information regarding DA:I game details must be under a cut. (As in, character names and such are fair game, but not everyone watches the trailers/gameplay demos, so everything from a video is considered a spoiler here.) This rule will continue after the game is released, until the mods say otherwise.
2) Don't be a dick. Don't insult your fellow community members, and don't use slurs related to race/sexual orientation/gender/etc.
3) Posts and discussion on this community should be centered around the games/other media and characters, not the writers, actors, or developers.
4) You can post your fanworks here, as long as you include a header with proper rating and warnings. For fic, we prefer if stories/chapters are posted elsewhere (on AO3, ff.net, your own journal, etc) and just linked here. For art, if it is NSFW, please put it behind a cut.
That's pretty much it! Otherwise, if it has to do with Dragon Age, go ahead and post it here! We expect things will be pretty heavily DA:I related for the foreseeable future, but all games and tie-in media are welcome here.
