Now, tell us all about it. (Well, some of us. Well, okay, let's still be kind about spoilers but you know... we still want to talk.) So, we'll start simple and with everything leading up to what we'll call the end of Act One? Hopefully people that have gotten there by now will have a good idea of what that place in the story is.

We can talk about anything though: thoughts on the story, the characters, the gameplay, you name it.  And if you want to post and talk about your inquisitors, we've got a post for that over here.

With only two days left, I'm sure many of our finalizing our Keep stories. So tell us, have you decided what story you're going to continue with Inquisition? Which Warden and which Hawke will be the basis for your Inquisition when it comes out on Tuesday? Why are you choosing the Warden and the Hawke that you are? And did you make any changes to them or the decisions they made?

I assume that even those of us who are relatively unspoiled know at least a bit about the new companions awaiting us - names, genders, classes, things like that. Do you have any specific (unspoilery) hopes or dreams for the new companions? Anyone you're particularly excited for, or that you're anxious to know more about?

In this post, we will consider the above-mentioned basic details fair play, as well as anything that's appeared in an official trailer or in the brief descriptions on the DA website. However, anything involved in actual gameplay videos or gathered from other sources is spoiler territory and, in this particular case, off limits!

Today [personal profile] violacea  and I were talking about how much we'd like to see Bethany with the Inquisition folks. How she'd interact with the new characters, what the story might be like if she were included, or even just a tiny cameo about where she is and what she's doing while everything else is going on.

Now we know seeing Bethany (or Carver) for that matter might be implausible. However our question to you all today is who you might want to see return. Now Varric and Morrigan and Cullen, well those are cop out answers. But if they are your favorite character, tell us why you're eager to see them in Inquisition.

[Where possible, please try to keep actual Inquisition spoilers to a minimum (or warn for them). Some of us haven't even watched any of the character or game play videos. I know, it's a nice cozy rock I live under. They know me here.]

So few days left! As midnight rolls over, there's just a week left before the game comes out. Let's talk about Dragon Age Keep now that everyone has access! How do you like it so far? Did it import all of your saved Wardens and Hawkes?

Personally, I had trouble getting all my characters imported into the Keep since I've played on both Xbox and PC and for some reason, my old Xbox 360 Wardens just didn't save to my account. This coming weekend I plan to spend some time logging into those characters and seeing if I can save those games (but I'm not betting on it). So that means I'm creating all my characters from scratch again. Not that I mind so much. Sure, it's not particular to each playthrough, but it gives me some chance to think about how some characters would've handled certain decisions had I not metagamed them on my 5th or 6th or 10th playthrough.

Tell us, how do you like the Keep idea, and more importantly, have you arranged for your first playthrough to use for Inquisition?

Release day is almost upon us and TPTB have given us a new game to keep us occupied. If you haven't seen it, make sure you head over to the Keep and check out The Last Court, a new card game from Failbetter Games, the people that brought us Echo Bazaar: Fallen London. Overall I think it's a pretty clever tie-in when it comes to timing. It's not anything that's going to keep us enthralled (I don't think) but since we're only a few days from launch it's a nice way to keep us occupied and thinking about Dragon Age.

I've played it some already, enough to run out of turns for a while and so far have found it a similar experience to Fallen London, and an interesting DA side-plot. Have you dipped your toes in yet? If so, what do you think? If you haven't looked at it, do you plan to?

Let's celebrate Throwback Thursday our own way today, shall we?

Tell us - how did you originally get into Dragon Age? Have you been there since DA:O came out, or did you discover the games within the past few years? What made you start playing? What caused you to seek out the fandom? Have your main tastes/likes/interests changed since you first got into the fandom?

We're planning to post random DA topics for discussion on a regular basis, and since we got a suggestion, we decided to go with a version of it!

As a player, you make a lot of choices in the Dragon Age games, some tougher than others. So tell us - what is the hardest decision you (the player) have to make in-game? Which one sticks with you, or makes you pause to think every time you play? Which one makes you think the most, or makes you wonder about the in-game consequences no matter what way you go? Is it one of the major decisions, or a small one that could have lasting consequences?

(Bonus points if you pick something that doesn't boil down to mages vs. Templars. Because, well, that's the easy one. ;))
